Treatment Change Studies for City of Danville, KY. In December 2009, Routt guided, helped conduct special treatment studies and system monitoring to improve treatment efficiency. Studies involved jar tests of alternate coagulants,  and monitoring effects of lowered carbon doses, along with  documentation of system water quality changes since prior treatment changes in the early 90s. Work was accomplished with Bell Engineering, Danville operations and management, and chemical suppliers, as part of Danville's Master Planning Study. Studies were followed by successful switch to polyaluminum chloride coagulant, and substantially lower powered carbon doses.
